The genre is deeply rooted in horror, so many rooms tell stories that are intended to scare you. However, the event does not need to be frightening to be fun. Our success metric is laughter — not screams. Therefore, all of our storylines have an element of irreverent humor that will keep you entertained as you solve our puzzles.

Escape Rooms are modeled after a type of computer game in which the player is locked inside a room and must explore in order to find their way out. The very first Escape Room was started in Silicon Valley by a group of system programmers. They concept quickly spread, with the first major company popping up in Japan in 2008. Today there are thousands of rooms around the globe.
